Cut Accurate Pieces - Part 1 of 1

Now that your fabric is squared up on one side, and perfectly
aligned with the grain, you're ready to start cutting strips and squares.

If a pattern says to cut a strip 2½” wide, as in the example below, the goal is to cut right on
the grain line, so it’s exactly 2½” from top to bottom, and your fabric stays square as you cut.
